Created by Johnny Kelly for the Memory Palace exhibition at the V&A Museum, this interactive installation invited visitors to answer a single question: "If you could keep only one memory, what would it be?"
Individual sketches were added to a growing collective mosaic, where personal memories merged into a single, vast artwork.
To bridge the digital and physical, these contributions were screen-printed weekly as A1 posters and integrated back into the gallery, creating a tangible, evolving record of the exhibition’s shared narrative.

Nocte developed bespoke software driven by an algorithm inspired by Tetris. The system processed each submitted drawing, automatically arranging and scaling the individual memories to intuitively construct a collaborative, large-scale composition.
