Working with United Visual Artists, Nocte developed custom Disguise modules and generative visual effects for Massive Attack’s 2014 and 2016 tours. This work provided the core technical logic and real-time frameworks used to drive the show’s complex stage visuals.

Massive Attack’s live performances are defined by their responsive, politically charged content. The system ensured video and text could be updated daily, reflecting real-time global events and localized news within a meticulously crafted visual framework.

Nocte developed bespoke Disguise modules to automate the import, animation, and synchronization of text with the music. The studio also engineered a suite of real-time visual effects, including dynamic video glitches and complex grid distribution frameworks for image and video content.
