Created by Artisan for Mini BMW at Milan Design Week 2014, Parallels is a physical installation featuring three custom-engineered steel rings that reflect laser projections to generate volumetric light tunnels.

Nocte developed the bespoke d3 (Disguise) modules and control logic to drive the lasers, while also creating the real-time visual effects for the installation. The system allowed for the precise alignment and manipulation of the visuals as they interacted with the physical geometry of the rings.
